Lorraine Musapurwa (37) of Unit D, Seke, denied charges of aggravated indecent assault when she appeared before Chitungwiza regional magistrate Estere Chivasa.

It is the State’s case that sometime during the month of September in 2014, the complainant (name withheld), who is the accused person’s neighbour, was on his way home from church when Musapurwa approached him.

The court heard that Musapurwa asked the complainant to go with her to her house, but he refused and she dragged him into her room.

Prosecutor Tendai Mukariri told the court that the accused person asked the complainant to have sex with her, but he refused.

Musapurwa allegedly removed the complainant’s clothes and told him to lie on his back.

The court heard that the accused person got on top of the complainant and had unprotected sex with him once without his consent.

After the act, the accused person threw the complainant’s clothes at him. He dressed and left.

The matter came to light after the complainant revealed what had happened to one Memory Mapfumo who then informed his aunt.

A police report was made leading to Musapurwa’s arrest.
