The nine-track album that also features seasoned musician Oliver Mtukudzi has already found its way into kombis, shops and boutiques while also receiving massive airplay on local radio stations.

The pint-sized musician said the response was overwhelming and that despite gaining nothing from piracy, his main aim is for the gospel to reach a wider audience.

“Firstly, I would love to thank God who hasmade the album release possible. The response is overwhelming yes, but the gospel music lovers are the best judges.

“My wish remains the same that every album I do should reach to a wider audience and if that happens then it means the gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ is reaching a wider audience,” said Mhere. Some of the songs on the album include Tsano Handei, Mazuva Akare, Vasiye Varonge, Pahushamwari, It’s not Over and Mwari Variko among others.

The album was produced by Charles Aybek.

With this album proving to be a success, it therefore means the Gutu-born musician is indeed a force to reckon in the gospel music industry judging by his previous albums that have done well on the charts.

The album Anoita Minana that carried the hit song Favour t saw the musician becoming popular was followed another scorcher Nguva Yenyasha that also did well on the market.

Meanwhile, Mhere is one of the local gospel musicians whose calendar is busy as far as live shows are concerned.

This week he is leaving for overseas where he will tour the United Kingdom and Canada.
