CAPS United Football Club coach Mark Harrison believes new signing Rodreck Mutuma can do better after playing his part in the Green Machine’s win over Dynamos in the Sino-Zim Cement Cup on Sunday at Rufaro.

Caps won 6-5 in a penalty shootout after the match had ended 1-1 in regulation time and Mutuma converted the first spot-kick for the Green Machine.
“It was a good performance (by Mutuma), but he can do more than that. I know what Rodreck can do. He was hardworking all day today (Sunday), he did well. However, he has a lot more to give just like everybody in the team. I can’t pick any individual because everybody did well.”
About his team’s performance and this season’s target, the Englishman said: “The performance was good, it was adequate, but we are nowhere near where we need to be. We have a lot of work to do on the training field and we just have to keep our heads down and keep on working.
“We still need to work in all the areas of the field. This year we know it’s going to be a difficult because there are a lot of changes at the club. We are rebuilding.
“We have not set any target for us this season. We just want to go through the year and see where we finish.”
Dynamos coach, David Mandigora looked disappointed losing to Caps United on his return.

“Losing to any team doesn’t make feel good at all. This game gave me an idea on the team’s strength and weaknesses. But I think it would be too early to judge us by this performance, although I have seen quite a number of areas where we need to improve on.
“My target this season is to win as many games as we can,” Mandigora said.
Speaking to the media after the match, Mutuma said: “The win was good for me, my team mates and our supporters.
“I joined Caps United because I wanted a new challenge. I won the championship with Dynamos and decided to move on so that I could get another championship medal with Caps United.
“Dynamos is my former team, so when I play against them I put in everything. This was a big match and what I did today was exactly what I was doing when I played for Dynamos against Caps United in previous seasons.
“I did my job and I’m proud of myself that I have made all these (Caps United) supporters happy,” Mutuma said.
Mutuma joined Caps United on a two-year deal after failing to agree a new deal with Dynamos.
