Brian Matope (28), from Unit J, Seke, denied the allegations when he appeared before Chitungwiza magistrate Lazarus Murendo facing charges of contravening the Zimbabwe Schools Council Act.
He told magistrate Murendo that his colleagues were trying to tarnish his image by making false allegations against him.
It is the State’s case that in September last year, Matope who was working at the Print On Demand section at Fidelity Printers, was responsible for printing the November 2014 “O” Level examination papers.
Matope was approached by his workmate one Gabriel Chikaka who wanted to buy the papers from him and allegedly agreed to sell each exam paper for $300.
However, they later settled for $150 for each subject. The court heard that Matope later met Chikaka at Joina City in Harare where he gave the latter a computer memory stick containing all the exam papers.
Matope told Chikaka that all the material he needed was in a folder under the name Victor Kunonga.
