The 26-year-old Zimbabwe born presenter joined Top Billing in 2010 after winning the presenter search.

His emotional manager Lorraine Meizel says, “He was going places. He was the most amazing human being. Gentle, kind and loving, honest, hardworking. He was everything; he was the most extraordinary person. I saw him on Thursday. And I always used to kiss him on the neck and always used to love it and shake.”

Simba attended Randpark High School and then went on to study B.Comm Accounting at the University of Johannesburg (UJ).

Mhere has worked as a voice-over artist and a master of ceremonies for some of the country’s most prestigious events, one of which was the Mrs SA pageant in 2013.
