The suspect, Casper Mhlanga (29), is alleged to have broken into a farmhouse where the deceased Eudisha Ncube was asleep and raped her. He then allegedly strangled the girl and stole several goodies from the house.
“Intensive investigations by the police led to the arrest of the suspect and subsequent recovery of a satche, l 300ml Beverly Hills perfume, 500g Sunlight washing powder, 375ml tomato sauce, and 500g mayonnaise salad cream belonging to the girls (Ncube’s colleagues),” police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba said in a statement yesterday. She, however, did not reveal where and when the suspect was arrested.
