The three academies that will feature in the tournament that will be hosted by Glen View High 2 are BN Academy, Albun Academy and Caps United Juniors.

The Pinda muSmart/Ngena kuSmart Nash Under-20 is made up of players who excelled during the Pinda muSmart Nash Under-20 football tournament that was held at Prince Edward School in October last year.

The tournament was won by Harare side Marlborough High School with a convincing 3-0 victory over Chemhanza High in the final.

Nash head in charge of football Albert Mucheka said the main objective of the tournament is to groom and give the selected players exposure.

“The squad has been in camp at Churchill High since Monday to prepare for the tournament. We want to develop these youngsters, give them exposure and a chance to work with professionals. Training has gone smoothly and we expect a very good tournament on Saturday (today). The matches will start at 0830hrs,” said Mucheka.

The Pinda muSmart/Ngena kuSmart Nash Under-20 Select Side is dominated by Marlborough High who provided six players while Conway has four. Chemhanza, despite their impressive run at the tournament that saw them going all the way to the final, had only one player selected.
