On Tuesday, revellers thronged Victoria Falls Farm School where there was a massive colour party that was hosted by a star-studded line up of DJs from across Africa.

The second day of the carnival saw the likes of C_U Rage (Namibia), Eleftherios Mukuka (Zambia), Anthea Scholtz (South Africa), Rob Macson (Zimbabwe) and B2B Nic Fourie (Zimbabwe) rocking the stage and mashing up electro dance music hits.

The atmosphere was electric as large crowds danced under a cloud of colourful powder.

C_U Rage was first on stage and wasted no time getting the party started, rocking the decks and sending the crowd wild. It started raining as soon as Eleftherios Mukuka hit the stage, but the thrilled gave no heed as they continued dancing vigorously in the rain.

By the time the beautiful Anthea Scholtz came on, the venue was packed and people were sprinkling colour powder all over the place creating an amazing rainbow atmosphere.

There were moments when people created a human train which would end up having hundreds of people joined together and dancing around the dance floor.

Rob Macson and B2B Fourie closed the show but had to add another hour on their slot as people still wanted more.

The party continued through the night as people went to various official after parties.

In an interview with NewsDay, one patron who identified himself as Kudakwashe Mataga said this was one of the best parties he had attended this year.

“It was an amazing experience and I think this must be the best party I have been to in 2014,” Mataga said.
