Jah Prayzah said he had the best experience as compared to any other tour he has embarked on before.

He said the promoter’s professionalism nailed it all.

“The promoter is professional. Everything was done on time. We got the best accommodation and top-class venues,” he said.

“Some travelled from as far as 1 000 kilometres just to watch us perform and you can imagine the shows end at 11pm which is the country’s law.

“So we finished the shows when everyone in the crowd would still be hungry for more. It was painful, but there was nothing we could do. This is my best tour ever.”

Jah Prayzah had a four-leg tour that took him to Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.

The gangly musician will be performing at an acoustic night at Bar Rouge at Longe Cheng Plaza tonight before he takes to New Life Night Club on Friday, where the proprietor has indicated he intends to make the gig a welcome show.

“The show will be a double bill serving as Jah Prayzah’s welcome party as well as the official opening of our entertainment year at New Life. January has been tough and people soldiered on so here we are starting a new year,” said Fidelis Ngove, the club proprietor.

Keen Mushapaidze, Jah Prayzah’s public relations manager, said New Life Nite Club has always been known to be their welcome gigs venue.

“We intend to stick to that tradition. The show will be the first 3rd Generation gig since their return and fans should not confuse it with the Acoustic Night,” said Mushapaidze. “Jah Prayzah is excited and geared up for the show. We guarantee it will be a thriller.”
