The DVD carries songs like Mombe Mombe, Pahotera which features superstar Oliver Mtukudzi, Bhora Mberi, a duet with Peter Moyo, Ndondo, Pfuti and Wangu. Some scenes on the DVD were shot in South Africa.

Several artistes, among them Jah Prayzah, Peter Moyo, Romeo Gasa, Progress Chipfumo and dancehall chanter Looga Diamond, are expected to grace the launch.

Tryson’s publicist Shepherd Machakanja said although it took time for them to come out with the DVD, they were happy that they had finally made it.

“Compass DVD is ready for launch this Thursday and we urge our fans to come in their numbers for this launch,” Machakanja said.

“We took our time to come up with this polished DVD and I have faith that it will be well received from the different corners of the country.”

The youthful singer, song writer and instrumentalist, who hogged the musical limelight in 2008 after launching his debut album Marxist Revival, has been hustling for years in an effort to build his name starting off as a mere curtain-raising act for the likes of sungura ace Alick Macheso, among other renowned musicians.

The joint’s resident DJs, Switch Bas and Asy Arz, will rock it on the turntables before the launch.

Prudence Matasva, who is known as Chihera, said patrons must come in their numbers as there would be a lot prizes to be won on the day.

“Patrons who are coming for the launch are safe and must not worry of pushing and shoving. They will be tight security to take care of their cars,” Chihera said.
