By Saturday afternoon, the page, titled “The Truth About Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa, Public Figure, Community Page about Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa”, already had 9 031 likes.

Although UFIC spokesperson Pastor Prime Kufa was not picking calls yesterday to clarify if it was an official page, a church insider said the page could have been opened by one of Makandiwa’s many followers to create platform for interaction with the generality of Zimbabweans who want to know more about Makandiwa.

The page has classified pictures about Makandiwa while answering many questions relating to Makandiwa’s religious and personal life.

Some of the questions required clarification on Makandiwa’s sermons.

Some of the questions raised included Makandiwa’s business life, wealth, testimonies and some of the decisions that have been made by the church, to which the administrator would respond.

However, most people participating on the group proposed that some questions were too personal about Makandiwa and needed the Man of God himself to respond.

A follower of the page, Clarkson David Muza, proposed: “This note is addressed to administrator. If you want to be professional, you have to refer some questions to Makandiwa himself. The question raised by the author is very relevant and needs a response from the horse’s mouth. Some people say the prophet is becoming rich through the money donated to the church and not to him.”

He was referring to a question on whether Makandiwa was both a prophet and a businessman and why as a public figure his businesses remained under a cloud.
