Gomo last released an album, his fifth Ndomutenda Neyi in 2011 having got into the limelight in 2003.

The musician caused ripples on the market when he released eight-track album Nyasha Dzichatisvitsa with tracks like Moyo Unonyengera and Iye Woga.

The singer is in hibernation as he is not even performing live. Speaking to NewsDay yesterday Gomo said he was not feeling the heat as he has been working on new music that could make up two albums although he could not give a possible date for their release.

“I cannot issue a date of the release of the new album, but what I can tell you is that we still have a month to go before the year ends. Our schedule falls within this year and we are going according to plan,” Gomo said.

“When one does not release an album that does not mean that he is out of the groove, I only release something when I feel it is the right time.”
