Arguably featuring two of the most celebrated singers locally and an upcoming dancehall chanter Looga Diamond, the Sunday show promises to be a thriller. Interestingly fans not knowing who will go on stage first, are probably expected at the venue on time.

If Chipfumo opens the show, fans will obviously wait to see the Pahotera singer and if the latter plays first, they will certainly wait for the former’s performance.

Chipfumo’s music which is full of social commentary has reaffirmed him as one of the best local performers who have managed to remain on top on the game while Tryson, the son of legendary dendera maestro Naison Chimbetu, has also proved that dendera music runs in his genes.

The youthful singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, who hogged the musical limelight in 2008 after launching his debut album Marxist Revival has been hustling for years in an effort to build his name starting off as a mere curtain-raising act for the likes of sungura ace Alick Macheso among other renowned musicians.

The Pahotera singer gradually rose to become a force to reckon with in the “cut-throat” music industry dominated by other gifted musicians.

In 2014 he embarked on his maiden international show staging three shows at Transvaal Hotel in Boksburg, South Africa.

On the other hand, Looga Diamond (real name Simbarashe Chamboko) will be out to prove he is a serious contender in this fast-growing genre.

Gifted with a talent of rhyming fast on different riddims, Looga Diamond has put up sterling performances at most of his shows.

The joint’s resident DJ Switch Bas said they are expecting a good show as they have decided to give their patrons a three-in-one show.

“We have organised this show in a way that it will give variety while at the same time attracting patrons from all generations,” DJ Switch Bas said.

“I urge our fans to come in their numbers and witness the surprise packages that have been promised by the performers.”

Among other musicians who have performed at Radost Platinum are superstar Oliver Mtukudzi and Sulumani Chimbetu.
