Magaya was holding an all-night prayer crusade when the incident happened.
Details of the tragedy are still sketchy but people who spoke to NewsDay gave different accounts of what really transpired.
Witnesses said the incident happened as a result of stampede to get the anointing oil while some said it came after police shut all exit points and left only one hence the stampede.
