Tonight Super Label Nite Club host She Calaz’s welcome back from South Africa bash featuring an array of dancehall chanters.

RESIDENTS of Marondera and surrounding areas will be in for a treat tomorrow when contemporary musician Jah Prayzah and his Third Generation band supported by Jazz sensation Jean Masters take turns to entertain revellers at Legends Sports Bar in Marondera.

At the gig, the duo will share the stage with Marondera-based reggae outfit, The House of Stone, also commanding a huge following in the province.

The Tsviriyo singer and Masters are enjoying a steady stage relationship that has seen Jean Masters getting the much-needed exposure.

Masters continues to take her brand to another level by curtain-raising for many renowned musicians that has seen her improving her acts on the stage. Speaking to NewsDay, club proprietor Daniel Masaiti said he decided to bring the duo’s fans together under one roof.

“The musicians appeal to a cross-section of fans who will converge under one roof. The combination of Jah Prayzah and Jean Masters is exceptional and will bring Marondera fans to the dancing floor, Masaiti said.

“We continue to bring artistes from different genres giving our patrons a variety.”

Jah Prayzah’s manager Filda Muchabaiwa said fans should expect a great show.

“We are happy to be back in Marondera for our Mashonaland East fans and we are promising them nothing, but the best,” Muchabaiwa said.

Located in the high density area of Nyameni, Legends Sports Bar has proven to be a favourite of the many attracting some patrons travelling from as far as Macheke and Harare.

DJ Qaris will be on the turntables tonight entertaining revellers at Roasters Inn, the home to traditional African food. Tomorrow, the joint will host traditional dancers. Sunday is dedicated for Old Skool music with merrymakers’ braai in the gardens.

Local DJ D-Train born Ronald Chiwanza will tonight celebrate his birthday at Dandaro Inn, Harare Show Grounds. Several Djs among them Witness Matema and Kudzi Marudza will join D-Train in celebration.
