Revellers, on the other hand, always jostle to catch the fun in the city at familiar night spots while others strive to discover new places where they can enjoy themselves.

Such is the case with Motor Action Sports Club proprietor, Eric Rosen. He has turned the Motor Action Sports Club into a lively hub of a variety of entertainment this summer.

Moving away from being the sports hub that was home to Motor Action Football Club, the place has been revamped into a concert venue that is offering a professionally refined space for outdoor and indoor events.

Live entertainment is also part of the package that is being offered, making it one of the best places to be this summer.

On Friday, the club will host a DJ Jamboree pitting some of the best DJs that have graced the music scene in Zimbabwe, partnering Afrimune Media, an entertainment stable that has set its eyes on music promotion and artistes’ recording.

The trendy DJs that will be taking care of business on the decks include Kelvin “Soul Supreme” Sifelani, Hosea “Hitman” Singende, Kimble Rodgers, Mc Curtis,DJ Archy Banks, DJ Sibs of Up Entertainment and Afrimune Hifi DJ Simplex and Mc Jah Warrior.

The DJ Jamboree will mark the official opening of the venue and the beginning of a variety of activities lined up for the rest of the festive season.

Motor Action Sports Club will certainly present a chance to Eastlea residents and surrounding areas to access entertainment easily without having necessarily to drive across town for relaxation.

In an interview with NewsDay, Rosen said: “This initiative is meant to provide a perfect leisure sport this summer and at the same time focused on providing a platform for the development of the arts through working with different promoters that in turn facilitate progression of entertainment,” he said.

Speaking on the entertainment calendar set for the venue, Afrimune Media director Mathias Bangure said the idea is to provide a shift from what night goers are used to and exclusively package entertainment that caters for all.

“We have in store a lively dance music concept for all. The venue provides a soothing environment where each and everyone can enjoy a variety of taste musically and enjoy a different landscape.

“The line-up of DJs set to be rocking this place even tells a lot about the stature and the kind of environment to expect. We will also be giving a platform to different artistes to perform during our Afrimune nights that we host every Friday,” he said.

Motor Action Sports Club Gardens will certainly be the place to hang out this summer considering the variety of activities and services offered at the venue.
