The track, which was produced by Shingirai Zimhanyi aka Shayzar of Mix Masterz, will be taken off The Colour of Reign 2014 compilation.

“This track I produced with two female rap artistes, one in South Africa and another in Zimbabwe, is more about women uniting across borders,” said Shayzar. The track featuring Harare’s leading female hip-hop artiste and DJ Naida’s single Phezulu is the third single released off Gigi LaMayne’s second sophomore Mix Tape The Colour Of Reign.

The album features some of Southern Africa’s most prominent artistes such as Tumi & the Volume, Zakwe, Siya Shezi, Infadizle (Skwatta Kamp), FratPacker, Karma YungMarley, Cindy Munyavi, Pro Dankie San, L-Tido and Rashid Kay.

The Mix Tape album was produced by International Producers “The Mix Masterz International” together with South Africa’s top producers Neo Beats, J-Twinn, Tux Man, Dynamic, Smash Hits and C-Note.

“The single will be officially released on Zimbabwe s biggest radio show The Ignition on ZiFM Stereo at 7:50am and the Colour Of Reign Mix Tape will be available on I tunes on 2 October 2014,” said Shayzar.

He added that he was excited to have worked on the track as it was part of their mission as Mix Masterz to take their artistes across borders and raise the country’s flag high.

They aim to let the international community know that they have a competitive record label and that Zimbabweans could also meet international standards.

“We offer mixing and mastering services for clients all over the world, especially for Zimbabweans in the Diaspora who still want a feel of the Zimbabwean flavour, making it cheaper for them to deal with us than to pay studios there,” said Shayzar.

Shayzar said they aimed to globally promote their artistes, events and developments in their record label.

“As Hip-hop and R’n’B producers we have a whole new rooster of artiste on our record label and we are not into Urban Grooves!” he said.

Shayzar said some of the artistes that were on their label included the High Definition Dance crew, Sisiyanti, Kay(Kandi Floss), Black Bird and the late Amelia who was also signed to Bryce Management, signed onto three beat makers who are Static,Primo,Big Midget and Dj Trickx who now manages Dj Naida.
