The three Hwange key players have accumulated three yellow cards.
However, Hwange coach Nation Dube is not reading much on the unavailability of the trio.

“We will be missing the three players, but we have other registered players who will be given a chance to play. I do not have a problem with their unavailability because we have other players who want to add value to the team as well.

“We expect a tough encounter against Shabanie Mine. They have a new coach. Players want to impress the coach and they are playing at home so it will be difficult. Our target is to get three points but anything can happen in football,” he said.

Shabanie Mine technical director Jairos Tapera, who was roped in to assist head coach John Phiri, says his immediate task is to ensure that they avoid the dreaded chop from the league.

The Zvishavane side is lying in a precarious position on the log table and knows well that a defeat against Chipangano today could spell more trouble.

“It is going to be a very tough game. When you look at our position on the log table and playing Hwange, one of the teams which are on top. But it is a game of football we will do everything we can to get a positive result.

“Our main target is to make sure that we avoid relegation. We are not going to throw in the towel,” he said.

The increase of player bonuses by Shabanie Mine executive could be a motivating factor for the team to get a good result against Hwange.
Hwange beat Shabanie Mine 3-0 at the Colliery Stadium in May in the reverse fixture.
