Dendera star Suluman Chimbetu and his sidekick Jah Prayzah (guest artiste) are set to headline the event, which also parades Kireni Zulu, Progress Chipfumo and Hope Masike.

Dubbed Acoustic Night Part 2, the special session begins around 7pm where patrons will be afforded time to interact with their favourite musicians.

Speaking to this publication last night, event coordinator and Private Lounge entertainment manager Joe Mentro said: “All is set for the acoustic session on Thursday (tonight) where we have invited household names on the local showbiz scene.

“They might be youthful, but they command a lot of respect and following wherever they perform.

“It is an honour for us to be hosting the likes of Chipfumo, Sulu, Jah Prayzah, Hope Masike and, of course, their father figure Kireni Zulu.

“It’s a rare session where fans get to interact with their beloved musicians who command a huge following both locally and even beyond.”

They have organised a number of games that will see a number of revellers walking away with different prizes.

He said they were hoping to make the event quarterly as well as include more female artistes.
