DYNAMOS . . . . . . (1) 2 HOW MINE . . . . . . . . 0 BLESSING MOYO scored a stunning first half goal that sent Dynamos on the way to the final of the One Wallet Cup yesterday at Mandava Stadium as the Harare giants finally broke Luke Masomere and How Mine’s hold over them.

Dynamos will now meet Triangle in the final — a game that is certain to be a David and Goliath affair.
How Mine knocked Dynamos out of the Mbada Diamonds Cup final late year while Shabanie Mine, then under Masomere shoved the Harare giants out of the BancABC Sup8r Cup last year.
In two league matches last year, Dynamos failed to beat Shabanie Mine while they also lost 1-0 to Buffaloes in the first half of the season when Masomere was still in charge of the soldiers. But yesterday, Moyo showed them how it’s done.
Despite the loss, Masomere was delighted with his charges’ perfomance after taking over last Tuesday. “We played well apart from the fact that we did not convert chances that came our way. But the overall perfomance from the players was pleasing. The foundation of the team is there and I think we will win our next game,” Masomere said.
Winning coach Kalisto Pasuwa heaped praise on his charges for the job well done singling out Moyo for special praise.
“From the outset we had the intention of winning, thumbs up to the boys they played well. It was a beautiful goal and if he keeps his cool he will go far,” he said referring to Moyo.

Dynamos started the match on the front foot with Tafadzwa Rusike causing all sorts of problems for the gold miners in the opening exchanges.
But it was teenage defender Moyo who grabbed all the limelight with a powerful long range effort that left Ephraim Mazarura clueless to give DeMbare the lead just after quarter of an hour of action.
Ten minutes before the breather an unmarked James Chitereki failed to find the target when the ball was deftly cushioned into his path by Kudakwashe Musharu. With just twelve minutes of action in the second stanza Pakamisa added gloss to the scoreline when he rounded off a badly exposed Mazarura to give the Harare giants the insurance goal.
In the last minute of regulation time, Dynamos goalkeeper Artwell tipped Musharu’s effort over the bar and followed that up with two other crucial saves to keep a clean sheet.
