THE third edition of the CoFFashion Pop Up is set to take place at the prestigious Intwasa Festival which started on Wednesday in Bulawayo. This year’s edition marks the festival’s 10th anniversary.

CoFFashion is a creative platform from Hunnar Management Agency in collaboration with Fifra Concepts, Deck Magazine, Coca-Cola and the Bulawayo National Art Gallery providing local designers with an artistic environment to sell designs.

Hunnar Management Agency, project coordinator Takudzwa Grant said the CoFFashion Pop Up has allowed the public to buy local concurrently empowering the designers financially: “The initiative aims to give the public an opportunity to consume locally produced commodities and allow the local designers to earn a source of income through the sales. The Pop Up is hosted every last Saturday of the month at the Bulawayo National art gallery of Zimbabwe,” Grant said.

Some of the designers that have exhibited in the previous editions include, Litso Clothing Label, Shadow By Sidumiso, Annie G Couture, KoMaseko Arts & Ceramics, Isobel Couture, BrandRoom, AM Model Management, amongst many others.

“We expect 30 exhibitors to participate and we are honoured to have this initiative as part of the 10th anniversary of the Intwasa Festival,” Grant said. “As our city celebrates 120 years, we also ought to celebrate creative individuals that have contributed immensely to the growth of our city in all spheres of influence.

“On Saturday, the day of the CoFFashion Pop Up we will have local creative, live entertainment, children’s corner, make over sessions and also a food stall.”
