The pageant will be held under the theme Supporting Domestic Tourism through Beauty Pageants. Urban grooves musician Roki, BaShupi and Judgment Yard Sounds, among others, are billed to perform tonight at a bush braai pre-party.
Pick and Save, Mutare
Dendera ace Sulumani Chimbetu takes his father’s commemoration show to Manicaland tonight when he performs at Pick and Save in Mutare. At the show Sulu will share the stage with Jacob Moyana and Somandla Ndebele. On Sunday Sulu performs at Legends Bar in Marondera alongside dancehall chanter Soul Jah Love. Bulawayo
Fresh from his tour of the United Kingdom, Trevor Dongo of the Ndashamisika fame and rapper Leonard Mapfumo perform in Bulawayo tonight at a show that will see Dongo promoting his forthcoming 10-track album, Two Steps To Go.

The two-day Chimanimani Arts Festival’s 14th edition roars into life today running under the theme Together, We Can in the Eastern Highlands showcasing music, theatre, dance, arts and craft. This year’s edition will see sungura ace Sulumani Chimbetu, Ammara Brown, Alick Macheso, Sugar Sugar, Diana Samkange, Agatha Murudzwa, Blessing Shumba, superstar Oliver Mtukudzi and other artistes from Chimanimani taking to the stage.
