Award winning musician, Cynthia Mare will tomorrow record her first live DVD at the Old Mutual Alliance Francaise Theatre in Harare.

Alliance Francaise Award winning musician, Cynthia Mare will tomorrow record her first live DVD at the Old Mutual Alliance Francaise Theatre in Harare.

Titled Cynthia Live, this will be the fourth project from the Pfugame Unamate singer following up on her December 2013 album, Songs My Mother Loved.

Dandaro Inn, Exhibition Park Dancehall star Soul Jah Love (real name is Soul Musaka) and Sungura musician Suluman Chimbetu tonight perform at Dandaro Inn at the Exhibition Park. The gig is meant to commemorate the life and work of the late Simon Chimbetu. The show which is going to bring together dendera and dancehall fans under one roof is expected to be a thriller.

Zimbabwe Germany Society Afro-soul songstress cum-guitarist Tariro neGitare tomorrow performs at Germany Society in a concert dubbed Love is a verb.

Gijima Sports Bar Mbira dzeNharira again returns to Gijima Sports Bar for their weekly dose of traditional music.

Stodart Hall Stodart Hall in Mbare tomorrow comes alive when more than 30 artistes take to the stage and join controversial Mbare dancehall chanter Seh Calaz to celebrate his birthday. Artistes expected to perform include Guspy Warrior, Dadza D, Ricky Fire, Kinnah, Bounty Lisa, Tocky Vybz and Freeman among others. On the turntables will be Templeman and Garry B.

Prince Edward High school A new gospel outfit, Breeze will tomorrow launch their debut 12 track album called Hosanna at Prince Edward High school’s main auditorium. The launch will also be graced by renowned gospel outfit, Shower Power and Arcadia Male Choral among other gospel artistes.

Big Apple Club Big Apple located at the corner of Mbuya Nehanda Street and Nelson Mandela Avenue in Harare tonight hosts Gary Muponda Tight, son to popular Afro-reggae and pop musician, Willom Tight and upcoming artiste Benjamin Chidewe at a show dubbed Afro Fusion Exclusive. Tomorrow the club hosts an array of dancehall chanters among them Lady Squanda, Killer T, Guspy Warrior, Tocky Vybz, T Makwikwi, Mostaff among others at a gig dubbed Zimdancehall Summer Bounce.

Book Café Talented vocalists Cindy Munyavi and Clare Nyakujara tonight serenade fans at Book Café for their Kumabhebhi Masquerade Concert. The duo will be supported by radio personality Patience Musa who will be doubling as MC and DJ.

Kwamhamha Hillside, Chinhoyi Peter “Igwe” Moyo and his Utakataka Express start their weekend gigs tonight with a show in at Kwamhamha Hillside in Chinhoyi. Tomorrow they are back in the capital for a show at Extra Mile Leisure Spot before rounding it off at Mega 1 Bar in Graniteside on Sunday. For all the shows Utakataka Express will be supported by Extra Kwazvose.

Chakari Stadium, Chegutu Rising dancehall chanter Mostaff, Zora musician Leonard Zhakata and sungura musician Allan Chimbetu tomorrow perform at Chakari Stadium in Chegutu.

Midlands Hotel Dancehall music lovers in and around the Midlands town of Gweru are in for a treat tomorrow when Winky D and an array of dancehall chanters among them Freeman, Shinsoman, Judah B, Tatman, Legion of Mafiriji Pakadoma fame and Terminator among others converge at Midlands Hotel for a show dubbed Midlands Zimdancehall Summer Splash. From the lineup of the performers the mammoth bash promises to be a thriller.

Murambinda Growth Point In a bid to stay afloat, sungura artiste Romeo Gasa continues concentrating on venues outside Harare. Tonight Gasa and his Extra Valembe band entertain revelers at Murambinda Growth Point in Buhera on Saturday they perform at Puzza Dollar Night Club in Gokwe.
