The recording themed No Limits promises to be a thriller as William Sajeke from South African gospel outfit Joyous Celebration is expected to grace the occasion.

The choir which consists members from different churches and various cities has a unique sound that will survive at any international stage.

Speaking to NewsDay, the choir’s co-founder Hofmeyer Madzinga said preparations for the DVD recording were at an advanced stage and they were expecting a huge turnout since their first project was a huge success.

“The whole team has been working hard and I believe we are now ready to give our fans a great show,” Madzinga said.

“Our first DVD was successful as we managed to sell a couple thousand copies and we are hoping the public will keep on supporting our work.”

The choir will be touring South Africa in September where they will launch the DVD before its local launch during the same month in Mutare.

Madzinga said they intended to raise and develop talented musicians who would help spread the word of God through music.

“Our vision and mission is to rise a new generation of worshippers in Zimbabwe,” he said.

The choir’s music director Tasimba Matsvimbo said they had prepared new tracks which fans will hear for the first time at the recording.

“Fans should expect an explosive show as we have been practicing new praise and worship songs,” Matsvimbo said.

Royal family, with a membership of 50 was founded in 2012 and has risen to become one of the most popular gospel acts in Masvingo.
