So Profound will perform on August 29 with the tour coming hard on the heels of another regional performance in Zambia three weeks ago.

He is known to be one of the few Zimbabwean poets whose sets are engaging due to his overwhelming creativity unlike some whose performances are predictable.

So Profound will spend four days in South Africa where he will perform and attend other poetry recitations.

“I will be attending other poetry sessions to watch after my performance there so I can tap and getter better understanding of the spoken word scene in South Africa and how we can borrow some of what they do so we can improve what we do here,” he said.

“I would not want to pre-empt the contents of the tour, but all I can say is I always bring the best of me to the party, so the best of me is what South Africa can expect.”

On his return, he is set to prepare for another trip to Zambia on September 13, where he will perform at Invasion 101 in Lusaka which is one of the biggest Christian concerts in Zambia.
