As we draw nearer the second coming of Jesus Christ, the devil has become more aggressive and cunning as prophesied in the Scriptures.

This is the time to be very discerning and use all the faculties God gave you. You have to be spiritually sensitive and mentally alert.
Don’t shelve your mind neither should you spiritually sleep. While you are careful not to receive heresy you should also be careful not to miss salvation and deliverance. Existence of evil should not deny you access to good.
It will be very regrettable to miss your time of divine visitation because of fear of it being demonically engineered. Satan is there to discredit the true church of the living God and does not want anyone to receive the truth. You and I know that Jesus died for His church and will do all it takes to defend it.
While wolves in sheep’s clothing may arise, God will also raise good shepherds. In as much as false prophets will arise, true prophets will also arise. I know you want to be sensitive and discern false prophets.
In the same vein pray for discernment of true prophets. I emphasise that Satan does not want you to connect with God so that you become easy prey for him.
Solomon’s wisdom will help in these perilous times. 1 Kings 3:16-28 records a story were two prostitutes gave birth and one laid on top of the baby and killed the baby. She stole the other woman’s baby and gave the dead baby to the other woman.

An argument arose and they went to King Solomon for judgment. As each one of them claimed ownership of the living baby, Solomon asked for a sword to kill the living child so that both children would be dead and the women would bury whatever child was given.
This grieved the real mother who offered to have the child given to the liar alive. Solomon then picked it that the one who wanted the living child remaining alive was the real mother. Read the full story, it is so deep and captivating.
According to the aforementioned story, Satan would rather have us spiritually dead with no connection whatsoever with our Maker. In referencing this story, I note the exception that the church, its ministers and members are not the prostitutes.
The moral is true that the devil would rather have no church or minister functioning in miracles, signs and wonders. Since we are afraid of false prophets, he would rather have none believe in the existence of true prophets. Some killed their children and they want everyone childless.
He is comfortable if our problems persist. The good thing about the judgment of God is that you cannot be in the middle. It is ether you are for Him or for the devil.
While you face the possibility of being conned and manipulated, the genuine preacher also faces the resistance of a world that is wary and afraid of being duped and misled. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 2:11, “For we are not ignorant of his devices.” Let no one and nothing stand between you and your God. Whenever the Word of God is taught, it has to draw you to Jesus not to man. Jesus has to be the central theme and the only solution and answer. Don’t deny the power of God and trust in the lies of the devil.
In order to survive in these times you need to stay in the Word. Check everything for scriptural truthfulness. Don’t fall for anything and don’t refuse the power of God. Follow the church at Berea who the Bible says in Acts 17:11, “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Beware of false prophets, but receive true prophets.
Remain focused and committed to seeking the truth. Be spiritually and mentally alert. Don’t miss the visitation of God and don’t embrace the visitation of Satan. Don’t kill your baby, let it grow.
