Domboramwari: Progress Chipfumo tonight serenades Epworth fans when he performs at Domboramwari. Tomorrow, the talented guitarist and vocalist travels to Kahuku in Glendale before he returns to Harare for his usual Sunday show at Ice and Fire Pamuzinda

Stodart Hall More than 50 dancehall artistes, among them Ras Caleb, Sniper T, Shinsoman, Soul Jah Love, Tocky Vibes, Freeman and Seh Calaz will tonight perform at an explosive music fiesta at Stodart Hall in Mbare to launch the newly released Chill Slam Riddim.

New Life Nightclub Sungura ace Alick Macheso and Sulumani Chimbetu have joined forces for their shows beginning this weekend. The two have lined up several joint shows before their upcoming United Kingdom tours. Tonight they perform at New Life Nightclub in Budiriro. Tomorrow they serenade fans at Club CSC in Chinhoyi before rounding up their busy weekend programme with a show at Mega 1.

Private Lounge Veteran wheel spinner DJ Munya will headline the Celebrity DJ Party featuring an array of local club DJs, among them Gary B, DJ Storm, DJ Joe Mentro and DJ Smylie who will take turns on the turntables tonight at Private Lounge.

Monomotapa Crowne Plaza Hotel Vabvuwi Masimba Edenga Gospel Group will tomorrow launch their seventh album and DVD titled Ebenezzer at Monomotapa Crowne Plaza Hotel. The 12-track album includes songs Mwari Baba, Mune Nyasha Huru, Mbiri Kunashe, Tiriparwendo and Padyo Nemuchinjiko.

Reps Theatre, Harare Tomorrow internationally acclaimed acapella group Chitungwiza Harmony Singers will stage two performances at Reps Theatre. The performances will be conducted by Arnold Dzangare and George Tamisai while pianists will be Ruth Chard and Mark Hyde.

Gijima Mbira dzeNharira return to Gijima for their usual Friday slot. The Friday performance is increasingly becoming popular with mbira lovers who had become starved of mbira music.

Junction 24 Rising Chimurenga musician Jairos Chabvonga and his Ngorimba Afro-Fusion Band tonight perform at Junction 24 along Harare-Seke Road. Tomorrow the open-air joint hosts Miss Curvy all-night farewell party where the models will be mingling with the patrons.

Playerz Nite Club Comic dancer Apama leads Crazy Boys and Four Angels in a show at Playerz Nite Club tonight. Tomorrow he embarks on a whirlwind tour of Guruve where he will be camped for the rest of the weekend. He will be performing alongside Crazy Boys, Four Angels and Coco tomorrow and Sunday.

Makanda Night Club, Murewa Rising sungura artiste Romeo Gasa tonight entertains revellers at Makanda Night Club at Juru Growth point in Murewa. Tomorrow he performs in at Mhangura Country Club and on Sunday he will be performing at Kisnet Bar in Mhangura.

Takarangana Night Club, Gweru Sungura musician Peter “Igwe” Moyo will take his act to Takarangana Night Club in Gweru tonight. Tomorrow he is back at his roots with a performance at Mbizo Inn, Kwekwe, before rounding it off in Chegutu at Addy’s Kite Night Club. ENTERTAINMENT REPORTERS
