The Warriors fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Taifa Stars of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam on May 18, before a disappointing 2-2 home draw that saw them knocked out of the African competition.

Netherlands, who beat the Samba Boys 3-0 in the third place playoff, jumped 12 places to third. Spain were at the summit prior to their first-round elimination and are now eighth.
