HARARE High court judge Justice Priscilla Chigumba yesterday reserved judgment in a matter where former Telecel Zimbabwe board chairperson Jane Mutasa is seeking to compel the current Telecel top brass to allow her access to the resolutions and minutes of meetings conducted in London leading to her expulsion.

Mutasa, who was suspended pending finalisation of her $1,7 million fraud case, which the former Attorney-General (AG)’s Office declined to prosecute, said she was still the founding member, chairperson, director and shareholder of Telecel Zimbabwe and her suspension, in March 2010, as the mobile network provider boss was a nullity.

“I submit that what has been happening since March 19 2010 is a nullity and has no force of law and to support this view that is why I have been calling for the resolution and minutes which respondents have failed to provide,” Mutasa said in her founding affidavit.

The former Telecel boss cited the chief executive officer of Telecel Global, Kai Eubach, managing director of Telecel Zimbabwe, Aimable Mpore and company secretary for Telecel Zimbabwe, Angeline Vere as first, second and third respondents respectively.
