Super start for Ntini

CHIREDZI . . . .  (1) 2
BUFFALOES . . .(0) 1

IT ALL came together for good for Gishon Ntini in his first match in charge of Chiredzi Football Club as he led his new team to their first ever home win after beating Buffaloes in a Castle Premiership match at Chishamiso Stadium yesterday.

Ntini was appointed last week at the Lowveld based side to replace outspoken coach Moses Chunga.

David Temwanjira and Scholar Hadebe scored for Chiredzi in the 45th minute and 70th minute respectively while Mike Nyamukasa scored for Buffaloes in the 58th minute. Ntini said he was happy with the winning start:  “I am happy with the win. It’s a good start for us and we are hoping to collect maximum points in our next matches. There are still 14 matches to play and we need to play good football.”

His counterpart Luke Masomere said Chiredzi scored two clear goals saying he was looking forward to their next encounter. “I hate to lose, but Chiredzi scored two clear goals and they deserved the win.”
