Gotcha Nyama, a popular restaurant located at the Joina City food court is run by a Zimbabwean M-Net Africa Magic presenter Josey Mahachi and her husband Jide Agbeniyi.

Mahachi, who presents the Click Africa Show on Africa Magic, said Mandla would be the main speaker at the launch together with national police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba.

“As Gotcha Nyama restaurant we are proud to be bringing Mandla for his first visit to Zimbabwe accompanied by wife BalMbalenhle Makathini and the senior councillor of Royal House of Mandela and Mvezo Traditional Council, Mapilisi Mandela,” Mahachi said.

“As we endeavour to promote food tourism, Tourism and Hospitality Minister Walter Mzembi will be the guest of honour and a number of traditional groups will perform on the day.”

Mahachi said the event will be graced by ambassadors of different countries with five of them having already confirmed, local celebrities and socialites who will share some moments with Chief Mandela.

On Saturday the restaurant will host a dinner where individuals will get to interact with Mandla and have photo-shoots with the South African icon.

“After the official launch, on Saturday we are going to host a traditional dinner with guests required to come dressed in African attire,” Mahachi said.

Mandla was chosen as his father’s (Makgatho) successor in 2007 after his death in 2005 paving his way to the head of the tribe.
