A masquerade themed event is a concept yet to be explored on the local entertainment scene and fans will get the rare opportunity to be part of one tomorrow. In an interview with NewsDay, Kumabhebhi co-founder Cindy said they had decided to host a masquerade-themed concert since the local entertainment scene was starved of such glamorous events.

“The reason why we put this show together is because there are very few shows in Zimbabwe that are glamorous and as Kumabhebhi we are always coming up with unique-themed events for our fans,” said Cindy.

She said fans should expect great performances as the artistes were rehearsing tirelessly in preparation for the show.

“We have prepared a fun-filled night for our fans and they should brace themselves for electric performances.”

Cindy also said since this was a dress-up concert they were expecting people to dress according to the theme although it would not be compulsory.

“Wearing a mask is not a must, but it would be fun if everybody did since it would really create that masquerade atmosphere.”

Kumabhebhi is an initiative that was created as a platform to empower female artistes and has grown in popularity since its inception in 2012.
