POPULAR 'strip-tease' dancer, Junior Lizzy Zinhu, commonly known as 'Beverly Sibanda' or Bev, on Wednesday afternoon pleaded guilty

POPULAR ‘strip-tease’ dancer, Junior Lizzy Zinhu, commonly known as ‘Beverly Sibanda’ or Bev, on Wednesday afternoon pleaded guilty to physically getting in contact with her audiences during performances, and was slapped with a $100 fine.

If she fails to pay, Bev faces a 60-day jail term.

In addition to the fine, Harare Magistrate Donald Ndirowei also slapped Beverly with a two-month jail term which was wholly suspended for five years on condition that within that period the raunchy dancer would not striptease while getting in physical contact with her audience or risk a jail term instead.

While performing at her recent shows at Lounge Night Club and Airport Lounge , the court heard Beverly invited male patrons to the stage and started dancing with them thereby being in physical contact with the audience contrary to the stipulations of her striptease certificate which states that

“No physical contact should be made between the artiste and the audience during the performance of striptease act nor should the performer of a striptease act leave the open floor area for the purpose of the act as a stage.”
