According to summons filed at the High Court recently, the ZNA accumulated a debt amounting to $23 376,33 including interest after taking its vehicles for servicing at Croco Motors between November 2011 and March 2012.

Croco Motors said every time the ZNA would bring in a vehicle for servicing they would be given an invoice which had to be paid within 14 days.

“The plaintiff (Croco Motors) offered the defendant certain specialised services, by servicing its motor vehicles on various occasions, between the 9th of November 2011 to the 8th of March 2012,” the plaintiff’s declaration reads.

“On each occasion the plaintiff raised invoices for the services that were rendered. The defendant also specifically ordered the plaintiff to effect such services. The invoices were due for payment within 14 days from the date such service was effected.”

Croco Motors, who are represented by Chinganga and Company legal practitioners said despite repeated requests and several demands, ZNA has refused, failed and neglected to pay the debt which now stands at $23 376 at March 1 this year.
