The court heard that on March 24, the trio being led by Mlambo went to Macheka grounds car park in St Mary’s and chased away people who were present including the owner, Charakupa.

The accused persons wanted to forcefully take the car park from Charakupa, who has been running it since 1999.

The trio then allegedly assaulted Charakupa with fists and open hands. After the people had ran away, the accused persons allegedly stole 10 asbestos sheets, 6×4 square tubes, 5×2 wooden boards, 12×3 iron sheets, 4×5 iron sheets, 5 round wooden poles and 30 angle lines.
