The boy, who resides in Mubobo village, Seke, pleaded guilty when he appeared before magistrate Estere Chivasa.

It was the State’s case that on May 3, the complainant’s aunt left the accused’s two younger sisters in his custody.

Prosecutor Loveti Muringwa told the court that at around 7am, the accused summoned the complainant into his bedroom, leaving his other sister outside. He forced her to lie down on the bed.

Further allegations are that the accused forcibly removed her panties and had sexual intercourse with her once.

The court also heard that the complainant’s sister then entered the bedroom and saw the accused putting on his trousers.

The matter came to light when the complainant narrated the story to her aunt when she came back. A police report was made leading to the teenager’s arrest.

Magistrate Chivasa remanded the accused in custody.

The matter was expected to continue yesterday. The magistrate also requested for the accused’s birth certificate to verify his age.
