SOUTH Africa-based upcoming vocalist Varaidzo Nyakunika is set to release her latest single, Chivaraidzo, sometime next week.

The Russo-produced soulful single is likely to put smiles on romantic music lovers with its fusion of sweet vocals and well-constructed instrumentation.
In an interview with NewsDay, Nyakunika said the song was about finding one’s soulmate and celebrating the effects of love.
“Chivaraidzo is a song about finding the one person that you dedicate yourself to, somebody that is the fuel of your heartbeat and your very existence,” Nyakunika said.
“The song is a joyful piece that celebrates love and the peace and humility it generates.”
She went on to state that the song was inspired by the meaning of her name.
“I thought it would be pleasant to incorporate the meaning of my name to make a lovely, heartwarming song,” Nyakunika said.

“I believe in love and its beauty and I am happiest when I write about it.”
Nyakunika assured fans that she had poured her heart out on the track and had worked hard to give fans something extraordinary. “Due to the fact that I am a perfectionist, I had to work hard on the track,” she added.
“I have an inclination for an impeccable music style and because some doors have already opened for me, I will make the best of that so as to grow as an artiste.”
The songstress, who features on Leonard Mapfumo’s chart-topping Ndoita Manyemwe, is currently working on her second album.
Some of the tracks she has done in the past include Mudhuze, on which was featured Sanii Makalima, and Zvatoita featuring Russo.
