CBZ Holdings has appointed chartered accountant Never Nyemudzo (pictured) as group chief executive officer replacing John Mangudya who was recently appointed new Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) governor.

Mangudya will assume the reins as RBZ governor on May 1.

Until his new appointment, Nyemudzo was the banking group’s chief finance officer. CBZ executive director for Mortgage Finance Colin Chimutsa becomes chief finance officer for the group taking over from Nyemudzo. The appointments were announced following a meeting by the CBZ Holdings board today. Both appointments are effective from May 1.
