The confrontation between private commuter omnibus crews and the police turned nasty this afternoon when a commuter omnibus- allegedly fleeing from police- ran over a toddler at the corner of Chinhoyi Street and Kwame Nkrumah Avenue this afternoon.
A witness who sent us these pictures said the driver only stopped after realising he had hit the child and cops disappeared from the scene.
More details, including the child’s age, could not be immediately established.
