The four winners are Sophia Muchechetere, Dumisani Dumisani, Victor Chakasikwa and Loyed Chakanyuka.

The all-expenses paid tickets include air tickets, visa application costs, accommodation in a three-star hotel as well as a substantial daily allowance. Speaking soon after receiving the tickets, one of the winners Chakasikwa could not believe he had been selected.

“I have nothing to say. It leaves me just to thank God,” he said.

Dumisani had this to say: “I can’t wait to be in Brazil. Not even in one day of my life had I ever dreamt of being there. Brazil here I come!” Apart from the four tickets, 12 more lucky subscribers walked away with $500 cash prizes.

The competition, which was launched last month, runs until August 8.

Other prizes which will be drawn at a later stage include four more all-expenses paid trips to the football showcase, jerseys of the teams participating at the World Cup, cellphone handsets, airtime and weekly cash prizes of $500 and monthly prizes of $1 000.

Four of the total eight tickets go to subscribers who would have gained points through recharging their phones while the other four to subscribers who would have earned points through answering questions.
