Latest on missing Malaysian plane: ‘It crashed into the ocean’

KUALA LUMPUR — Satellite data has confirmed that Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 crashed into the southern Indian Ocean.

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak held a news conference yesterday confirming that all those on the flight had been lost.

He said satellite data provided by a British company, Inmarsat, showed the plane’s last recorded position was in the middle of the Indian Ocean, west of Perth, Australia.

“This is a remote location, far from any possible landing sites,” Razak said.

“It is, therefore, with deep sadness and regret that I must inform you that, according to this new data, Flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean.”

Sky News’ Jonathan Samuels in Beijing, China, said there were “very, very distressing” scenes as relatives were told the news.

“Some people were in tears, others are helping those struggling and a woman is screaming in absolute anguish. It’s very tough to watch,” he said. — Sky News

    1. Coovie. I serached for the prophecy on the internet, and the man of God actually said”I am going to communicate to the embassy and tell them to thoroughly check all their planes before they depart.” Saka a solution was given. I assume that because they are a muslim nation they did not listen to the christian man of God.

  21. I am still not convinced. Did they find the debris and actually confirm that it was from the plane that went missing?
Have they found any human remains? What makes their findings so conclusive???

    1. maybe if you download or watch a video from the website listed below you might get an idea of might have happened but I agree with you

      http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/world/2014/03/24/nr-intv-inmarsat-missing-plane.cnn.html

NB. The video is 1.99Gigabytes so you need a very high speed internet connection or maybe you can download it and watch after the download is complete.

    2. @mhof i think you must follow the news in detail, and not just brush aside the facts.the sophisticated satelite equipment that we do not have here were used to dictate distant and underwater objects.saka urikuti iripi ndege iwewe if it didnt end in the ocean?”any human remains”,so early and in a closed aircraft that landed in water?you must be made.verenga nyaya in detail.ukwane.

  22. Shit happens. There are mass graves in Zim that accommodate such numbers only that some had never been near a plane courtesy of Gukurahundi.

we all know tt death is all our way, but the way it comes………………………………..in different ways! Rest in peace.

  24. Captain Phillips

Mhof I wouldnt agree with you more. What physical evidence do we have to suggest that the plane went down in the ocean? Remember this is not the first time we have heard of debris found by satellites. Maybe the Malaya authorities vapererwa manje.

  25. Sorry, may their souls rest in eternal peace

  26. Theory: hijackers simply walked into the cockpit, took over the plane and switched off the transponder. Flight crew fought back and that fight killed everybody in the cockpit, pilots and hijackers. The cockpit was locked and noone from the cabin could access the cockpit. The pilotless plane wandered across over the vast seas until it ran out of fuel. And crashed.

Is it not sad that hijackers still have access to cockpits of modern planes? Israel did the simple thing, seal off the cockpits of El Al. I am sure this saves lives. This world is full of mad men who kill babies whilst pretending they are pursuing a just cause.
