Known as the Bulawayo Bomber, Moyo, who has literally found no challengers on the local scene, beat Sors “Guru” Grobbelaar by a split decision to record a winning start to this challenging sport. The mixed martial arts match was broadcast on Supersport.

Moyo, who is based in South Africa, is the World Boxing Federation All-Africa heavyweight champion, but has struggled to get fights leading to loss of sponsorship from Elev8 where he had a contract for a minimum of five fights.
