Moving On is the first single off the upcoming six-track producer and artiste collaboration between Jae Mac and Wumi Spell which is due for release in June.

This offering will be a fusion of naija music and hip-hop giving it a distinct sound with Spell as the recording artiste on the project and Jae Mac, the music producer.

“I hooked up with Wumi Spell on social networks. I normally post my stuff on various pages from different countries because I don’t just restrict myself to only a Zimbabwean audience,” said Jae Mac.

He said the Nigerian artiste had fallen in love with his previous works that were posted on the Internet and since 2012 they had been in touch.

Moving On is a club record which talks about how people hate you and attempt to discourage you from pursuing your dreams, but that should never pull you down.

“We actually did a song together which we didn’t release and it was only this year when we decided to do a producer and artiste collabo which is part of our six-track album and I feel motivated and encouraged knowing that there are other artistes outside Zimbabwe who appreciate my work and are eager to work with me,” Jae Mac added.

He said the second single would be released in May to pave way for the complete offering in June which would then be available for everyone in digital formats whose selling points would be disclosed once his label secured retail agreements with desired retailers.

It will also be available on digital stores.

Jae Mac has worked with several local artistes including Ill Ceey, Nox and Kapital K, among others.

Wumi Spell from the Warri Delta has also worked with names such as Yung Six, Mike Anyosodo (MTN Project Fame Season 2 winner) and Blackface.

“I also have a few other major placements with some notable South African artistes, but I am not yet in a position to disclose the actual information although all I can say for now is that one of the tracks should be released mid-year,” Jae Mac said.
