FORTUNE MBELE

Chuoni FC are based in Unguja Island, the largest and most populated island of Zanzibar.

The team will be led by Zifa Matabeleland South Province chairman Nkosilathi Ncube as they plot to finish off the Zanzibaris, whom they clobbered 4-0 in the first leg at Barbourfields Stadium last Saturday.

A team of 18 players, seven technical team members and five officials and a Mbada Diamonds official — who are the sponsors — are travelling.

How Mine head coach Philani “Beefy” Ncube yesterday said the boys were raring to go and eyeing the next round.

“We are ready for the challenge. We are already in there and there is no looking back. We have no injuries in camp, morale is high and we are not making any changes to the team. We will talk after the 90 minutes. We will cross the bridge when we get there,” Ncube said. If How Mine pulls through, they meet the winner between St Michel of Seychelles and ASSM Elgeco Plus of Madagascar with former carrying a slim 2-1 home first leg win.
