As part of the package, Jan-Jam Men’s Wear shall provide clothing items comprising complete suits, belts and shoes among other clothing items. According to the terms of the deal, $7 500 has already been deposited in Magacha’s account as part payment with the outstanding $7 500 to be paid to the musician in February next year.

Speaking to NewsDay soon after the signing of the deal, Jan-Jam Men’s Wear managing director Cynthia Sithole said they had realised that Magacha was an ideal entrant for their brand ambassador image.

“We have committed ourselves to working with Magacha to market our products. As we dedicated ourselves to this deal, we are going to make sure the musician and his band members are smartly dressed for both local and international shows,”  Sithole said.

Commenting on the deal, the Ridzabhosvo hit-maker said he was overwhelmed to be involved in such a partnership.

“This is a great deal for me being dressed by such a leading clothing company. It is a great achievement for me being recognised by Jan-Jam management because of my music,” Magacha said.

As part of the deal, Magacha shall also be working together with an orphanage home called Adonaire children’s home which is also under the custodianship of the company.

“This deal also comes with an opportunity for me to extend my charity participation as I will be working with Adonaire children’s home,” Magacha said.

“I hope this project will go a long way since all parties involved have the passion for working with underpriviledged members of the society.”

The deal will also see Magacha’s music sold in Jan-Jam Men’s Wear shop.
