Ten upcoming dancehall chanters were identified at a talent search which was conducted at Plaza Decastilla in Grencroft, Harare last month.

The dancehall artistes are expected to share the stage with veteran artistes Dhadza D, Freeman, Guspy Warrior, Sniper and Lady Squanda among others at the show.

Speaking to NewsDay, Partson Chimbodza of Chipaz promotions said the show was aimed at unearthing talent from artistes who are failing to get the exposure.

“Preparations of the first Chipaz dancehall show are at an advanced stage and I am urging fans to come in their numbers and witness the new breed of dancehall chanters.

“We want to keep on unearthing hidden talent across the country, promoting and marketing local artistes by giving them such a platform to showcase their talent,” Chimbodza said.
