MUSICAN Alick Macheso on Friday said he thought Sulumani Chimbetu’s Sean Timba would be the song of the year for 2013.

Macheso was speaking at Radio Zimbabwe’s Coca-Cola Top 50 prize giving ceremony held at Coca Cola’s Graniteside depot in Harare.
“I thought Sean Timba would be on top at the competition,” Macheso said.
The musician said he was shocked that Macharangwanda had won ahead of Sean Timba which had spent the better part of the year topping charts.
Macheso’s Macharangwanda was on top spot while Sulu’s Sean Timba sat on second position with Jah Prayzah’s Tsviriyo settling for third position.
Macheso won $1 200 and a hamper, Sulu $800 and a hamper while Jah Prayzah took home $500 and a hamper.
