Pamuzinda Highway Xscape

Sungura ace Alick Macheso locks horns with bitter rival Sulumani Chimbetu at Pamuzinda Highway Xscape tonight.

Dubbed the First Gig of the Year, the show will also feature youthful artiste Munya Mataruse, while dancehall chanter Killer T makes a guest appearance. After disappointing fans at Stodart Hall in Mbare at a show to celebrate his 23rd birthday last year he will be out to make amends as well as charm more followers.

Hwenje’s Village

Forgotten sungura musician Leeroy Kamusena Lunga makes a return tonight with a show at Hwenje’s Village. Kamusena has struggled to revive Boys DzeSmoko.

Mega 1

Mega 1 sets out to tame the January disease with a show dubbed January Disease Cure. The show features Extra Kwazvose, rhumba re-bound group Diamond Musica and dendera musician Tryson Chimbetu.

Book Café

Book Café hosts Prayersoul tonight from 8pm. Sistaz Open Mic celebrates its seventh birthday tomorrow evening with a party led by Cindy Munyavi. Ammara Brown also performs at the same venue on Saturday before they make way for the Australia Day get together on Sunday.

Jazz 105

Progress Chipfumo performs at Jazz 105 tonight.

The musician looks determined to reclaim his lost glory and the show tonight should be a yardstick for his followers to measure his success on the recovery path. Resident DJs alternate tomorrow and Sunday for the After Bhora Party.

Mutomba Nite Club

Fernabash Dance Group performs at Mutomba at Glen Norah B. Tomorrow Fresh Queens take over while they give the reins to DJs Nicky and Mat-ko.

Tryson Chimbetu performs at Club 40 tonight. He should find the experience exciting being a club in his home area.

De Javu

De Javu in Kuwadzana will be home to dendera musician Tryson Chimbetu tomorrow. The musician’s camp is slowly waking up after numerous problems that range from departure of personnel and poor turn outs and he will be out to make amends.
