Hard Time Productions administrator Salom Majoro praised Tachi and described him as an emerging force in house music.

“DJ Tachi is one of the talented artists producing good Zimbabwean House Music,” said Majoro.

“His music is commercial; the fusion of deep house and some jazz elements left us without option, but to sign him.

“He needs a bit of polishing once he gets connected internationally; he will undoubtedly raise eyebrows in this industry.

“We then came to an agreement to take him on board on a five-year contract where we will offer him management services that include representing him and acting as his adviser in all business negotiations and matters relating to his entertainment career.”

Speaking to NewsDay Tachi said it is the beginning of great things to come.

“I am happy to have caught the attention of Hard Time Production, this is my stepping stone to success and I am going to use it wisely,” said Tachi.

“Tachi’s latest offering The way you make me feel featuring Felicia Diallo and MaElevator is receiving fair attention in Johannesburg and other towns within Gauteng province.” said Majoro.

“As Hard Time Productions, we have since started promoting his music not only in South Africa where we are operating from, but also in countries such as Botswana, Namibia, Nigeria and Zambia where we have agencies.”

She said they are in the process of organising a tour for Tachi where he will perform across South Africa.

He will get a chance to collaborate with South African producers and artists.

Tachi has two albums to date having released his debut Fo sho Muzik Volume One in 2011 and Fo sho Muzik Volume Two in 2012.

Hard Time Productions has Zimbabwean gospel heavyweights Praise Camp in their stable and UpTown Crew.

The stable also produces different genres of music, film, music videos, documentaries and commercials among others and it was formed in 2006 by Mbuso Masuku, was better known as DJ Shoes.
