Dubbed Zim Dancehall Tour, the show will be held under the theme, Promoting Cultural Arts through Modelling and Dance.

Speaking to NewsDay, event co-ordinator Tafadzwa Zvomoyo said it will be a two-in-one event with a modelling extravaganza to choose Miss Zimdancehall Rusape.

“We have organised this show as a way of raising awareness against drugs among youths. With this show, we want to encourage the youths to spread the gospel of anti-drug abuse through music,” said Zvomoyo. According to Zvomoyo, they will conduct a clean-up campaign starting off at Rusape bus terminus in the afternoon.

Some of the rising Rusape dancehall artistes who will perform at the event include Scadha Tee, Lipa Tee, Young- Digar Beatz among others while on the turntables will be the likes of DJ Tinz Mate and DJ Smolee. Roki (real name Rockford Josphats) of the Chidzoka fame will be the master of ceremony during the modelling segment where more than 15 models will be vying for the coveted title.
